No two weddings are alike, but in my years of experience, I have come to respect there is a formula. I am sharing this formula with you so that you can be in control and always on track with what you need to tick off, regardless of how creative and out there you are wanting your celebration to be.
We only open up our calendar to a limited number of weddings each season; we want to be present and focused for our couples. I also appreciate that not all couples want to spend thousands on a wedding planner. However, I know that most couples may have only planned a dinner party at the very most, so I want to share the wedding planning knowledge in a more accessible way.

We get into this important topic nice and early. You’re in charge of your budget, there are no hard and fast rules, but we help you to be realistic about your limits. The budget setting
starts with your guest list. Learn what you need to include in your budget – allow for everything, so you have no surprises. Our budget examples will help you see what works for you
and work through how to have conversations with friends and family who want to contribute to your special day. Load your budget into your digital planner and keep on top of tracking your spending.

Design it
We help you to develop a clear vision for your day. Defining the things that mean the most to you and your partner and encouraging you to keep these things at the forefront through
planning phases. Inspiration, style and personalized moments are all important in this module, detailing your vision and bringing it to life. We consider your day of celebration – and
determine how you want to show your love and share with your guests. In your digital planner, you will create design boards for all elements and then share these with key vendors.

Planning your wedding wisely helps you enjoy the journey by troubleshooting potential stressful situations. Learn what vendors you require and how to negotiate to get what
you need. We will work through key milestones to make sure you have everything in order. Looking at wedding day management, the flow of the day and delegating roles to people

Fun fact, I got married in Vegas, baby; yes, that’s Las Vegas! It was a whirlwind weekend, and just like you, I wanted it to all be perfect.
We have organised over 300+ weddings, specialising in off-the-grid events in incredible locations, where planning has to be absolutely on point because you don’t just need backup plan A, you need backup plan B and C as well.
I made The Get Wed Plan because after 12 years working as a wedding planner, I wanted to share knowledge with couples who may not be able to afford a wedding planner but see the benefit of picking an experienced wedding planner’s brain.

Absolutely, we offer payment in full or After pay solutions. Easy as!
Can i pick and choose what features to use
Yes! Our online planner smart tools are best used in conjunction with each other. But you can pick what tools will serve you best for your wedding style.
Can my partner join the digital planner
Together is mostly always better, so yes. When you fill out the details for your personal portal, you will be asked for two contributors. This could be your partner, mum, wedding planner, or dog – that’s if your fur baby has an email address. Anyone that you would like to collaborate with on planning.
I prefer pen to paper - can i use this
We get it; the romance of pen to paper is my jam too. That’s why all the resources and tools are downloadable and printable

Can I use this instead of a wedding planner service
I may be biased, but I believe wedding planners are essential to a stress-free day. However, I appreciate that not every couple can afford the thousands of dollars great wedding planners charge for their service. That is why I created this resource, to share my knowledge and give couples the advantage of having a planner in their back pocket. If you are planning your wedding in New Zealand, use our “Month of” Coordinator discount with your Get Wed Plan and have the reassurance that all your hard work planning will be activated on your wedding day.
We are not getting married in NZ
No problem; these tools are universally wedding-related resources, no matter where you choose to say I do. Some wording may differ to services in your local area, but you will get the gist of what you must do to follow the Get Wed Plan.
