What are you best at?
I have always been a great problem solver. I love building the jigsaw puzzle pieces of an event to create one overall stunning solution. I have a knack for seeing an event’s flow and ensuring that all the details come together to make it all streamlined.
Likewise, I love the relationships I build with my clients, getting to know them and understanding their needs and desires. I am also very good at listening.
Who is Fantail Weddings ideal clients?
Our ideal clients are time-poor adventurous spirits that desire a celebration that is not a cookie-cutter presentation of what’s in “fashion”.
They beat to their own drum and are not afraid to express it. They are getting married for the long term commitment, not just for the wedding day party.
Do you offer On the Day coordination?
The short answer is no. We don’t offer an on-the-day service. We offer either a full-service or Part-Service wedding planning service.
It is our belief that a wedding day is a collection of logistical elements that you can’t professionally show up on the day and make happen. Preparation and organisation are required to pull off a great event, and it takes effort and time to arrange.Â
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, we do!
On confirming your date on our calendar by signing our Terms and Conditions, we issue you with an invoice for a 50% deposit of our service fee.
The balance of the 50% deposit is payable in monthly instalments, with the balance due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

What is the best Wanaka wedding venue?
We have been a part of the wedding industry for over 14 years in Central Otago and the great thing is there are always new venues establishing themselves.
We have been lucky to work at all the event venues in the area.
We specialise in getting our clients off-grid. This means we head for the hills or lakeside and set up amongst Mother Nature, making sure that all the boxes are ticked to have a beautiful, flowing, and comfortable celebration that, weather permitting, will have you dancing under the stars!
Do you have vendor recommendations?
Yes, we love recommending a great vendor that we trust to help bring your vision to life. With our full-service wedding planning service, introductions will be made to our preferred vendors that we work with and trust to always deliver. We stake our reputation in these relationships.Â
With our part-service wedding planning service, we will recommend vendors that we trust and know will be a good fit for your style of the day and budget range.Â
How much is it all going to cost?
How long is a piece of string? It’s annoying and totally frustrating, I know.
Each wedding celebration is its own beast, including the cost. There are so many variables.
We are very transparent about the budget and what’s required to deliver the reality of your wedding day dream. Based on our first chat, you will have an idea of the costs involved so that you have a ballpark idea before signing a contract with us.Â
Can you do the styling & Florals?
As a trained commercial florist, I have loved providing florals to events for 15 years. My trusted sidekick, Belinda, is our head florist, and with over 15 years of floral skills under her belt, you get a lot of experience.
Together we provide the brains and the talent to create.
